Abstract

This study aims to examine global research trends, key contributors, and theme advancements in the field of solar energy and their impact on employment and identify future research areas. 695 documents from the Scopus database were analyzed using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to determine performance indicators, authorship patterns, and theme structures.  The data presented that India, China, and the United States are the major contributors, with increased international collaboration and research output.  Thematic mapping identifies four primary priority areas: solar skill training, technological uptake, institutional policy support, and socioeconomic effect.  These findings are significant to major opportunities for governments to strengthen national skill efforts, entrepreneurs to engage in workforce-ready markets, and scholars to investigate developing and underrepresented areas.
