Abstract

The focus of the work is the analysis of the potential of artistic creativity that is found today in the cultural institutions and facilities of Trebinje, with the aim of further developing cultural tourism. The shortcomings, as well as the possibilities of their touristic and cultural interpretation, were identified. An analysis of fine art was performed, which showed its quality, rarity and the need for a more attractive tourist and cultural presentation. Motives for the arrival of tourists to this city were determined, the level of visitation of cultural resources and the familiarity of tourists with artistic creativity were identified, which could serve as a base for the further development of cultural tourism. The need for the valorization and presentation of cultural content based on artistic creation, as well as the possibility of their touristic interpretation in accordance with the Tourism Development Strategy of Trebinje until 2030, was noticed.
